On Friday, I showed you some of the ways the new website makes it easier to choose a project and understand exactly what is included.
But finding the right project is only the beginning.
At some point, you are going to wonder how to work a particular stitch, where to find that video you remember watching or what to substitute for a thread you cannot find.
Useful things should be easy to find – especially when you are sitting in your stitching chair and need the answer now.

Tidbits and Techniques
Tidbits and Techniques is where I keep the stitches, videos, techniques and tips I come back to again and again. It is the home for the how-to’s, the why’s and the little things that can make a very big difference in your stitching.
Want to see a Buttonhole Stitch, Bullion Stitch or Crescent Stitch demonstrated? Curious about padding, ribbonwork, Goldwork or adding beads? Start with the videos.
You do not have to remember which blog post featured a particular technique or approximately what year I might have discussed it. It now has a proper home. Imagine that.

Conversion Charts and Downloads
The Downloads section is home to several very useful conversion charts.
There is a Splendor to Soie d’Alger Conversion, an Au Ver à Soie Metallics to Kreinik Conversion and a Kreinik to Au Ver à Soie Metallics Conversion.
Why both directions for the metallics? Because sometimes you have the Kreinik number and need the closest Au Ver à Soie color. Sometimes you have the Au Ver à Soie number and need the closest Kreinik. Useful depends entirely upon which thread is already in your hand.
You will also find Where Is That Stitch?, the master index for the iStitches apps and books. If you know the stitch you want but cannot remember which volume contains it, the index will point you in the right direction.
More Answers When You Need Them
The Techniques section includes the practical information that can be difficult to locate when you suddenly need it: Starts and Stops, Compensation Games, counting tips, Stitch Order, working with painterly canvases and more.
None of these things may be as glamorous as a sparkly new canvas.
Until the exact moment you need one of them.
The new website is not only a place to shop. It is also a home for the information, techniques and tools I have gathered through years of stitching and teaching.
There is always more to learn. At least now we know where to look.

Enjoying the blog? Make sure you are signed up for the mailing list so that you don’t miss anything Bedecked and Beadazzled. Did you know we are also on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube? Even more places to follow the fun. xo again.

I have all of your books online- a phenomenal extension of your online tidbits-etc. Totally invaluable!! I constantly refer to them when I’m stitching-especially in ‘waiting rooms’ I may not remember the names of stitches but your chapter titles get me there. I guess you could say-I always have you with me!!
I’m so glad you love the resources! It’s always great to hear. xo
This is my absolute favorite part of the new website. Thank you so much for making all of this information easily accessible.
I love that you have a favorite “part” of the website. Wait until you check out the next part. It’s even more magical. xo
Thank you for sharing such valuable info that many others charge for.
We’re all in this together! I share what I can. xo
