It’s that magical time! The week before Zoom-bellishment! Woo Hoo! I can’t wait to see everyone and say Happy New Year. Have you made your stitching resolutions for 2024? Is there a canvas you want to stitch? Is there a technique you want to try? Do you want to know what I see when I look at a canvas and how I envision the stitches that we will use? That’s what Zoom-bellishment is all about.
We have lots of wonderful stitchers in class and 12 gorgeous projects. Some are brand new canvases and others are canvases that have existing guides but want to come out to play again! I’ll show them all off here. Let’s start with Dressed for the Season by Brenda Stofft.
This was actually our Thanksgiving Ckass from 2020. We all know my attention span. Large areas of the same thing are not my jam. So, how could we stitch her fur without stitching miles of turkey work? Well, we could fill the fur with pearls. Wouldn’t that be fun? Well, it was fun!
Isn’t she yummy?
Here she is in all of her glory, stitched by Kathy. Love her framing choices.
I’ll keep featuring canvases with guides from our Zoom-bellishment class. We’ve done our best with all of the canvases we are about to show you to have canvases and threads in stock or soon to be in stock.
