Spring has sprung!  It was over 80 today, truly hard to believe for the end of February.  What’s going on?

I guess the weather gods know its time to announce our Spring Mystery Class.  Check out this fabulous canvas from ellen giggenbach!  Fantail  I love it.  It’s going to be super fun.  I have surprises in store.  🙂

What exactly is a mystery class? A mystery class is just like a mystery in a book; it unfolds in chapters. With each chapter more of the mystery (how are we going to stitch this canvas) is revealed.

Mystery classes are one of the most fun things at the beehive! You sign up knowing only what the canvas is that we will be stitching. How we are stitching it is the mystery. Each time you come to class (or we mail you your next kit) another section of the mystery is unveiled.

Now, you also know that if I am teaching it, it’s going to have a bit of bling. You also know I like to play with different threads and different stitches.

Did you notice all the polka dots?  I love polka dots.  How many different ways can we stitch polka dots?  Time will tell.

The canvas is 11 x 11 handpainted on 18ct canvas. Class cost is the price of the canvas plus $20 per lesson and the threads, beads etc. necessary for that lesson. The canvas cost for this design is $234.00.

We meet pretty much every other Sunday afternoon (unless the class- room is booked with another teacher) and review the twists, turns and fun of the current lesson. Class is from 1 to 3 pm. Can’t join us in person? No problem, we will ship to you. The instructions have full color photos of the canvas stitched to date along with complete instructions and diagrams.

Class dates are currently planned for March 11and 25th, April 8th and 29th and May 27th, 2018.  This will take us all the way through the Spring.
