Our Kelly Clark, Cookies and Cocoa Nutcracker is coming along nicely.  The second lesson of our Mystery Class is now complete.

The background is my favorite part.  It’s a layered upon layered stitch!  These are the most fun to do.  Work an open pattern.  Add another pattern on top with a different texture or weight of thread and then maybe add another!  

We have started to embellish his jacket and pants with another fun pattern.  Yes, beads have started to appear!  Always a good thing, right?  There will be more!

And of course you know the pink parts were calling my name so we stitched those too!
