It’s true.  Lesson 5 of Why Fit In is ready to roll!

I’m so excited about it.  I love this piece!  It is my all time favorite stitch to date.   The colors and patterns make me happy.

This lesson was all about getting the border going.  You know I like smaller areas so this was a bit daunting.  Lots of border.  Lots of one color.   Hmmmm.

The saying is stitched in sparkly metallic, and the purple behind it is custom dyed Color Dreams Floche.  YUMMY!!

Frame that yummy purple with ribbons!  Karen from zecca has been designing gorgeous ribbons for many of her canvases and this canvas is no exception.  Why Fit In Ribbon!!!!!  OMG it’s fabulous.

Of course we needed more beads.  You know my love affair with beads.  The green beads frame the piece nicely and by stitching down the ribbon first everything lays nice and smooth.

The blue leaves add a pop of color.

One more lesson for this project and then we will see what calls my name next.  I promise it won’t be another year and a half before we finish.  I know it’s been a terribly long wait for this lesson.
