Kimberly and I have been friends for a very long time and still after all these years I am in complete awe of how her mind works.  It is just so different from mine.  She truly has her own voice and looks at the world in a special way.

When she sent me the stitch guide for Magic Carpet all I could say was wow!  She hasn’t stitched Magic Carpet with all the fun stitches she picked but wow! and again, WOW!  I’m in love with it.  The colors make me happy.

Magic Carpet started as a painted carpet in Kimberly’s studio.

One of Kimberly’s clients did just that.  She hired her to paint the magic carpet on her wall!

And so it begins – from floor, to wall to canvas to bench cover.

Magic Carpet is available on 18ct (20″ x  13″) with a fabulous stitchguide or 13ct count (27″ x 17″) to stitch in basketweave.

Kimberly has stitched the 13ct version all in Waverly Wool for a seat cushion.  She stitched it so quick.  The colors are just so happy, how could you put it down?
