Do you ever have one of those weekends?  A weekend filled with friends and creativity and learning that leaves you wanting more?  This was one of those weekends!  We were delighted to host Teresa Gorecki of Bespoke by Teresa for a fabulous bead embroidery class.

We all started with the same project.  A beautiful necklace that Teresa designed exclusively for us using Sterling Opals and the most special beads, Ruth’s Garden.  Swoon!  It’s a knockout.

Our kits included everything possible and more.  You know how we roll here.  Show up bring your scissors and your glasses and you are good to go.

So many pretty beads and crystals!  Here’s the cool part.  Each kit was slightly different.

We started by bezeling a beautiful 18mm crystal.

Next up we worked on layout of our opals.

Look at how different these are.  I’m so excited watching these evolve.  This is Sandy’s.  I love the colors.

Teresa’s instructions both written and in person are crystal clear.  She demo’d all the important parts and was there to help us in anyway she could.

Thank you Teresa for a wonderful opportunity to learn and create and play with color.  Thank you ladies for joining us.  You all took on this adventure and ran with it.
