A few weeks ago, before Zoom-bellishment we had the final lesson of the Eleanor Grosch Candy Tree Mystery Class. Oh my was this a fun class! It’s such a simple graphic design that it allowed room to play. No one knew what direction it would go in. That’s the fun of a mystery class. It’s the surprise of what will I do? 😉
Lesson one was all about setting the stage, but lesson two brought it home. I had a vision of this canvas being very beady and sparkly. Well, it worked and it turned into a beading technique sampler. How fun is that?
By the time you finish this project you will have done row beading, brick beading, layered beading, bezeled cabochons, peyote bezeled rivolis and brick beaded rings! That’s pretty much the basics of beading. When you are done, you will know what you like, what you don’t like and what you can tolerate for the effect. There are just so many canvases that we love with circles on them and these are great ways to make circles.
It sparkles so much more in real life than I can show you here. More canvases are due in 2 weeks so if you would like your very own candy tree, Here’s the link to order.
I’ll post more Zoom-Bellishment projects shortly.
More fun stuff on it’s way!
