Here we are with the final lesson of the Cat and Mouse Game Mystery Class. What a game it was! Each area of the canvas called for fun patterned stitches. It was complete in two short lessons.
Check out this little mouse. He’s so round and fluffy. I couldn’t resist giving him ribbon ears.
His tail is even round. Well decorated with roundness. Jessicas accent his tail and look so stinkin’ cute. I don’t know why that was the first think that called to me when I saw this canvas but it was.
The cat’s face and his butt also needed a round stitch to make them all curvy and sweet while the orange panel behind his head needed something fun to make it look even taller.
Finally there was the background. There’s a lot of it so you know I needed to invent something to make it move quickly. I love the atomic starbursts. So Mid Century Mod! Fun to stitch.
Here are the cat and mouse almost complete, a little more background, a few more beads and the basketweave are all that’s left to do and then its off to the framer. Don’t worry about dragging your threads when stitching the background. Mine go everywhere, LOL. When it’s framed, no one will know.
If you want to stitch your own cat and mouse game, here’s the link. Of course you can always give us a call at 410.296.0405. We love hearing from you. We have canvases due in in a few weeks. It’s a super fun canvas and moves along pretty quickly.

Absolutely love it!
Fabulous! Another masterpiece! Almost makes me want a cat. 🙂
You know, cats are as cool as dogs and don’t need to be walked. Just sayin’ xo
