What do you do when you stitch a lot and really just want something new and different.  Your walls are covered in framed pieces, you have enough stitched pillows to have an epic pillow fight, you’ve done box tops and trays and purses?  Why not commission a fabulous piece of furniture?

That’s exactly what we did.

Harriet started with a fabulous Penny Macleod canvas.  Stitched it to perfection, and then Deux Bijoux Bijoux  built a cabinet around it!

I love every square inch of it.  Don’t you just love the little surprise of the painted dots inside the shelves?

The cabinet is over 4′ tall and makes a wonderful statement in a room.

If you are at a loss for what to do, think outside the box and who knows what you will come up with.
