Today was the second class of our Bohemian Beauty mystery.  I am pleased to say she is now fully dressed.

Her blouse shimmers with patches of Neon Rays and stripes of Petite Silk Lamé Braid.  In between we filled in with an open stitch worked with an overdye.  I do love the magic of the overdyes on this canvas.  The painted colors show through the stitches and everything blends like a beautiful watercolor.

Her face is now complete with fluttering eyelashes and painted lips.  Yes, a little embroidery is needed here.

We also beaded the fishbowl bringing it into focus.

We’ll add more overdyes in the next lesson.  I have 4 weeks to prep for that one!  What will I do?  Oh yes, I’ll have the zecca retreat!  Can’t wait to show you what I have up my sleeve for that one.
