The Harvest Colors Puzzle Mystery is complete! It really is pretty. The colors sort of glow, they are so bright and inviting.
Normally I have an idea when I start a canvas, where it’s going, what it’s going to be etc… But this time I don’t have anything! Or maybe I have too many things. What’s interesting is how different this piece looks when held vertically vs horizontally.
I really love it when I view it vertically, it seems to glow! It would look great in a dark brown suede matte. Very rich, but where to put it?
There is an HP box that is perfect for it. It’s a rich chocolate brown. You can see it here.
Of course it would be a beautiful pillow with wonderful fabrics and trims, or maybe I could finish it as a stitch book to hold Needle Notes. There are just too many fun ideas!
I’m also toying with appliqueing it to a tote. Geez!!! Just a few ideas. I guess we’ll have to wait and see which idea ultimately speaks to me.
Interesting that the way you turn this changes the look!
I vote for the box as the brown is just perfect. Take it from me, anything you put on the side of a tote gets hard wear, no matter how careful you try to be. So I am not going to add many fancy pieces to my totes in the future, especially if they have beads and metallics….
You already have done some spectacular pillows. Let's see what fun things you can do with a box!
this is the most delightful piece to stitch. Thank you so much for the class. I know that you are not a geometric person, but I am and I am loving this. It has me stitching every evening again. and I needed that.

Hi Kunni
Glad you are enjoying!!! That's great to hear. Who knows, I might just start doing more geometrics.
