That pretty much sums up our embellishment class last weekend. So many beautiful canvases and so much fun.
Nativity by Dominic Bourbeau is over the top amazing. Two ladies worked on this same design so I have lots of photos to share.
There’s a lot going on in this canvas. The entire piece is magical. I wanted it to tell a story so each group of people is designed to match in style. When it is finished it is going to be eve more beautiful.
One of the things I like the most about this canvas is the sense of accomplishment you feel after stitching each character. I mean really, is that camel not the cutest? Here’s the link for ordering and if you start now, it can be stitched and in your home for #holidays2020!
Also by Dominic Bourbeau we have Mew and Monarch. Another super cute cat from his collection.
This one is has great stitch patterns that while different from the guides I have written for the other cats in his lines will still blend seamlessly with them making a stunning set.
Kay worked on a classic Zecca canvas, Fall. Her’s is painted on 13ct but the guide will also work on 18ct. I would simply make each of the threads a bit smaller.
More photos to come. We also worked on the Tribal Masks, zebra and rhino and Frida Querida, so stay tuned. More pretty pictures are coming your way.
