We had the last class for David Galchutt’s Sirens a few weeks ago. It really is a myriad of techniques and opportunities to play. David’s canvases are like that. They have tons and tons of details that keep you engaged. There is always a new gem of an area to stitch.
Real metal threads in a pretty turquoise have been added to the undersea plants.
Other plants are swirly ribbons from Treenway is a beautiful rich blue.
The beautiful mermaid bodies sparkle with beads and crystals and ribbons and wirelace. So much good stuff.
The tail feathers really are spectacular. This is applique’d Swarovski crystal fabric. SWOON! I love this stuff. It looks ethereal and just as you would imagine a mermaid’s tail would.
The fishies are beaded. We all saw that coming didn’t we?
Here you go! Ta da! All the areas have been addressed, plans are made. It’s a super fun canvas. I really can’t stress enough how many different techniques you will explore in this canvas.
Canvases are in stock. If you would like to stitch some Sirens here’s the link.
