I like to mix my crafty metaphors.  Needlepoint, embroidery, beadwork, I love them all.

You know I love my beads and I’ve been adding more beads and bead techniques to our mystery classes and other projects.

In Run, bunny, Run from zecca we worked a bead embroidery bezel around a cabochon to use it as a flower center.

It adds another texture and some depth to you piece.

You can keep your cabochons simple or add more detail.

I thought you might want to try your hand at this so we made up some small kits.  Complete full color instructions, bead foundation, beading thread, needles, beads and a cabochon.  Just a little something to play with.

Once you learn the technique, the sky is the limit.  You can bezel any size cabochon you want!  Pretty cool.
