What cute yellow birdies these are. The third lesson of Mock Tails our current Mystery Class was all about the birds! Sweet yellow birdies all the same but all different. That’s the magic of these birds.
There’s the fancy bird on the lip of the vase. With his long fancy pretend tail made from sequins and fancy threads.
There’s the fat little baby bird on the table. He’s quite the character.
And then there’s this guy, he’s always hungry pecking for snacks on the table.
They are all the same with little yellow feathers and sleek black wings. Just because they are all the same doesn’t mean they need to be stitched exactly the same. Their feathers need to change angles.
This canvas is so much fun to stitch. There’s one more lesson and then it will be complete. Wait until the big reveal. It’s pretty now, but it’s going to be so much more.
I have a few canvases in stock if you would like to put your name on one. Here’s the link. We are waiting for the pretty lavender Kreinik used in the background. As soon as it arrives we can ship.
Santa Fe Felines is in process. Threads are on order. They will be here when they are ready and then they will be on their way to everyone waiting. Next up after that will be a lesson of Let’s Fall in Love!
