Last weekend we had Texas Sized Fun at Bedecked and Beadazzled! There’s just no other way to describe it.
Julia Snyder was here from Texas, teaching one of her fun embellishment classes and the oh so fun Carol Eix (of snap tray fame) and also from Texas was here with her daughter, Caroline, soaking up all the knowledge.
Carol chose to work on this petite Charley Harper canvas. Julia had ideas for all the dogs, cats and bunnies. They are going to be sooo cute. Texas girls need Texas sized canvases, ya know.
You may remember Sue was working on the Tapestry Fair nativity series in the last class. Now the Baby Jesus has been stitch guided. These are going to be great when finished.
Pat loves her coffee so this super cute Maggie is perfect for her. Check out the black and white swirled buttons for flowers. Love them!
Julia loves to demonstrate stitches to make certain you are clear on how to do them. Linda is paying close attention.
Check this out, a floral without ribbons. Lots of wonderful textures are coming together.
Saturday morning, everyone was working hard!
Lots of beady textures on this canvas from Unique NZ Designs. Carole is going to have so much fun with this one!
Shy Violet by Machelle Sommerville is a darling canvas that is going to stitch up quickly thanks to Raised Close Herringbone on the leaves and big bold Jessicas on the buds.
Caroline was bringing this skeleton dancer back to life. Check out the texture on the basket and her pretty lacy blouse.
Don’t you just wonder what they were saying? Had to be a Texas sized joke!
See ya’ll soon. xo, ruth
