We’re taking a tiny pause from Christmas in July festivities to talk about something equally magical, sparkly, and slightly less pine-scented: Lesson 5 of Robotic Uprising, by the wildly talented David Galchutt! 🤖✨ Robotic Uprising is one of our current Mystery Classes, and this lesson was extra rewarding.
Here’s what we tackled:
💚 We stitched the green robot, carefully keeping him in the background without letting him fade into obscurity. It’s a balancing act! We used thread weight and stitch direction to play with perspective and make him feel just right—supporting character energy with leading role vibes.

🚀 We also stitched the rocket, which means this canvas is officially ready for liftoff.

☄️ Oh—and the beaded meteors? So fun. So sparkly. So satisfying. They add just the right pop of drama to the scene, because let’s be honest: no robot uprising is complete without a little interstellar action.

We’ve got ONE more lesson to go in this class. The only thing holding us back? A thread shipment that’s taking its sweet time. (I’m staring at the tracking page like it owes me money.)
🧵 As soon as those fibers land, I’ll set the date—and we’ll bring these bots across the finish line in style. Here’s the link to join the Uprising.

Now, let’s talk about what’s hopping our way next…
🐰 Bunny Love Mystery Class starts this Sunday, and he’s as cute as can be. I cannot wait to stitch him with you!
Designed by Lane Tree and Lily (you know her from Queen’s Court, Best Friends, and Dancing Queens), this
little guy is an absolute delight. The canvas is small—just 6″ x 8″ on 18ct—and filled with big, bold blocks of color just begging for fabulous stitches and fun threads.
If you’ve ever thought about trying a Mystery Class, this is your moment! We’ll stitch him in two short Zoom sessions:
📅 July 20 and August 10, 1–3pm ET
Sign up here to reserve your spot.

So whether you’re here for bots, bunnies, or both—you’re in the right place.
Stay tuned, stay sparkly, and keep those needles moving.

Not to be left out, we have a fabulous Zecca canvas, Window of Opportunity starting as a mystery soon. This one won’t be on zoom — it’s a series of kits mailed straight to your door. Each panel of this triptych fits on 12×15 bars—easy to hold, but when framed? A total showstopper. Here’s the link for this one.
