What can I say?  It needed to be done.  The first lesson of the Witch’s Shoes Collage is in the books.

The letters are beaded in a fabulous rich magenta-purple.  Totally yummy.  The beading really needs to be done first as the letters are swirly and scripty and very pretty.

Once the lettering is beaded, it’s time to move onto the purple and black stripes in the background.  Petite Silk Lamé Braid and a fabulous new Color Dreams Floche create oh so subtle patterns within the stripes.  I wish the photos did the stitching justice.  LOL.

The final touch was is the area behind the spiderweb. You know how I role.  We have to do the background first even when there isn’t any background.
