I’m behind in class posts! Too many balls in the air. LOL. Here’s the results of lesson 3 of our Flying Witch by David Galchutt. She is really coming along. We just had the fourth lessons looking back to this one she is wowza!
Her apron is two slightly different Laid Filling patterns. The threads are the same. Changing the pattern slightly adds to the perspective of the apron going around her voluminous skirt.
Her stripe shirt is simply long stitches. Always pay attention to the direction of your stitches so that they draw the eye where you want them to go.
Look at these adorable pantaloons!
Finally, the black bats in the background are flying into place. More fun coming soon.
More witch canvases are due in December. Here’s the link to reserve yours.
I’m working on Let’s Fall in Love this week. Flowers are blooming, there’s more than you think on that canvas. It’s going to be a big kit.

This looks like so much fun to stitch. Hope mine is coming soon. I can’t wait to stitch it and have fun watching it come to life.
Very soon! xo
