A Lizard, a dragonfly and a frog walked into a needlepoint store and the rest is history! This is a Helen Heins Peterson canvas that was started in our January Zoom-bellishment class and is now fini! Sue did an amazing job stitching it following my guide and now it is framed and ready to hang. I love the choice of mat and frame.
There are so many fun details in this canvas. Who doesn’t love a lizard covered in beads and crystals?
Mr. Fancy Pants frog is filled with beads and embroidery stitches.
The flowers are equally spectacular! This was our chance to use fun composite stitches and Laid Filling Stitches.
The art area is 14 x 13 handpainted on 18ct mono so it’s big enough to make a statement but not so big it’s intimidating. If you would like to have a very well behaved group of critters in your garden this is the canvas for you. Click here to order.
Mystery Class News
My Neighbor’s Garden by Brooke Connor is our current mystery class, and it is jam packed with color! The last lesson is Sunday!
Let’s Fall in Love is on track. Threads are arriving. It will still be awhile but we’re getting there. There’s lots of threads and ribbons being dyed. We will ship as soon as possible in the order you signed up. It may be time to update your charge card. If you have moved on from this project because it got old and dusty, I understand. Please feel free to drop us an email and let us know so that we can release your kit to someone else.
The newest of the new is in the What’s New section of the website. Stay up to date on new canvases by visiting that link often 🙂 You never know what might just have been released.
