Brooke Connor’s My Neighbors Garden is a crazy adventure. This is our current mystery class and it is full of surprises. My favorite surprise is the bubble tree. Everyone needs a big blue bubble tree in their landscape right?
What’s not to love about gloriously big beads nestled together for big impact?
The yellow path is a real metal thread couched in place to create the perfect curve. There are so many canvases I love with dots and curves and it’s always a challenge to make them shine. Couching real metal threads in place is a great way to make a curved line as perfect on canvas as it in in our imagination.
The sky is filled with beautiful eyelets worked using one of my Color Dreams Twisted Silk Perle Threads.
These were just some of the details added in lesson two along with what might feel like miles of Outlining. But it does make everything pop!
If you would like to join us on this adventure, click here. Canvases etc are in stock and we can get one out to you asap. The final lesson is this Sunday. It’s chock full of color!
Mystery Class News
Let’s Fall in Love is on track. Threads are arriving. It will still be awhile but we’re getting there. There’s lots of threads and ribbons being dyed. We will ship as soon as possible in the order you signed up. It may be time to update your charge card. If you have moved on from this project because it got old and dusty, I understand. Please feel free to drop us an email and let us know so that we can release your kit to someone else.
The newest of the new is in the What’s New section of the website. Stay up to date on new canvases by visiting that link often 🙂 You never know what might just have been released.
