Here we go, lesson #3 of the Zecca Snowman class at Bedecked and Beadazzled.  Now it’s time for the fun details!  Love this part.

Today in class we started the trees. There are a lot of trees.  All just funky triangles.  So, the game here is different stitches in different threads to make different kinds of trees.  I guess they could all be the same, but how fun is that?

We did Amadeus Triangles with ribbon, love that!

Triangle Eyelets with Soie Perlee, love that! French Knots and Tent Stitch with Bouclé.

We also worked the outer border.  Need to get that done so that next lesson we can make snowflakes!  And of course more trees.

It’s interesting working a canvas with such a limited color palette.  Your focus becomes the threads and stitches to give the overall design excitement.
