It’s just big enough to pack a punch and small enough to not be intimidating, that’s the third panel of The Count by Tapestry Fair.

The background is nice big stitches with fun threads.  Those stitches take some time, but then… oh my!  Each little icon is a gem will get you excited about a new thread or a new stitch.

Fun, fun stitches.

See those zig zags in the upper right corner.  Brand spankin new Rainbow Gallery Fluorescent Soft Sheen FyreWerks was used.  Great colors.  It was all I could do to not use the new pink.  Love it!!!

And check out the dimensional beaded square. You know I love my beads.  This is a peyote stitched square worked from the center out so that it puffs up in the middle.  Really fun to create.  Not to worry, if you aren’t as beady as I am, I gave you options in the instructions.

Next up are the black borders.  Maybe I will change it up and start the other wing, saving the surprise of the black borders for a future lesson.  Thats part of the mystery.
