Did you know I have a YouTube channel? Yep, I do. Here’s the link
And since in the videos you don’t get to see me, here you go. Selfie for your Thursday entertainment.
Right now the channel is a random collection of videos I have created for various projects. There are videos for the Girl with the Deer by Lulu MyPinkTurtle, the Red Cardinals by Ewe and Eye, Beep Beep by Dominic Bourbeau and more. Don’t let the specific project dissuade you from watching them. The techniques can be applied to many different canvases.
If you’ve struggled with Freeform Crescents there’s a video for that.
What about French Knots? There’s a video for that too.
The newest video is all about Pinhead Stitches and L Securing Stitches. You may know my penchant for large open stitches. Starting them can prove to be a bit of a challenge when there are no other stitches in your traveling path to secure to. Pinhead Stitches and L Securing stitches are tiny little strong holds that will keep you thread secure. I primarily use them outside the painted area to start a thread but they could be used in the interior of a canvas if you are planning on stitching over the area. Here’s the link to the Pinhead Video.
Check out the videos, subscribe to the channel and enjoy.
