Oh the drama 2024 has brought.  It’s exhausting.  There are too many topics to touch on, so let’s just focus on the elephant in the needlepoint room.  Metallic Threads……

Let’s take a look at the new must have thread on the block.  Au Ver a Soie Metallic threads have been around forever but we just haven’t paid attention to them.  Now is the time to start your collection so that you have exactly what you need when you need it.

There are gorgeous colors, some will match existing colors in your stash but will have new numbers.  032 is what you are used to as 100 and 036 is what you are used to as 032.  There are brand new colors you haven’t seen before or haven’t seen in a long time.  There are shading families too!  All of the metallics are super soft and a joy to stitch with.

The Au Ver a Soie Metallic Thread family comes in all the sizes that you are used to #4, #8, #12 and #16 Braid.  Our club is going to feature my favorite versatile size, #8.

Sign up to receive 8 spools a month starting late December, 2024.  The colors will be a random assortment of pretties.  I’m doing my best to curate them so that they are exceptionally exciting when you open your sparkly purple envelope with the Yay! It’s Here Sticker.

Your registration in the club will continue until you tell me to stop or until I run out of colors.

Note:  You know our shipping calculator doesn’t always guess right on shipping and you know I’ve always got your back.  So, no matter what the calculator says your threads will ship for no more than $10.  If you are in another club or class we will do our best to coordinate and ship together.

Mystery Class News

Our current mystery class is Brown Bunny by Strictly Christmas.  There is one remaining lesson planned for this class.  If you haven’t signed up yet and have been thinking about it, this is your reminder.  I have canvases on order to ship complete kits in January.  It’s another happy, adorable canvas to keep us charmed through  Winter.  Here’s the link to order Brown Bunny.

Santa Fe Felines will be the next of the Mysteries with a Twist to get it’s final stitches.  Don’t get excited yet.  We are still a good bit away from that launch date.  The newest of the new is in the What’s New section of the website.  Stay up to date on new canvases by visiting that link often :-)  You never know what might just have been released.
