I’m a little late in posting, but hopefully when you see this little girl’s sweetness you will forgive me. She’s super cute and … drumroll please, finished! Yay me!
The final lesson of Girl with Deer by lulu mypinkturtle was all about the background, the flowers and the cardinals. That sounds like a lot more than it really was.
The flowers are happy and fun ribbonwork. Add a few beads and violá, big impact.
The cardinals are sweet and sassy stitched in Waterlilies by Caron.
The background is all about the sequins. I couldn’t resist. You know I love a sequined background. Combine that with a special limited edition Color Dreams Petite Silk Lamé Braid and it all comes together.
She’s off to the finisher now to be made into a standup. If you would like a kit of your own, you know what to do – Click here or give us a call at 410.296.0405.
While we wait for the ball to drop at the end of this decade I’ll be writing guides for our first embellishment class of 2020. Who knows, I may even allow some sneak peeks. Not to worry, I’m stitching too. Let’s Fall in Love and Lady with the Lime Green Background are the top of my queue.

You never cease to amaze. Your handling of a canvas that could easily have been over powered/over done produced a masterpiece. Well done you! Jay K
