I couldn’t resist.
There was just no stopping me.
I had to say yes, when Sandy Arthur suggesting offering her interpretation of Brenda Stofft’s Wizard of Paws at the shop.
We will be the first shop to have this class and it’s amazing.
Sandy Arthur is a great teacher. She’s so fun and so talented and so thorough, you just can’t go wrong.
The cat is needle felted and to me, learning that from someone who knows what they are doing is worth it’s weight right there. How many times have you considered a canvas with an animal on it only to review the stitch choices to make it look real and say, nope not Basketweaving, Long and Short stitching that guy. Now you will have a technique that will allow you to stitch an animal in a fun and quick way. We will leave at the end of the first day with cats stitched! Then we can explore the wonderful stitch choices for the pumpkins and sky including, new threads that we haven’t used before.
So what’s the catch? Well, the only weekend that we could coordinate our schedules and still be seasonally correct (Who wants a Halloween class in February?) was Thanksgiving weekend. I know, some of you may have plans. But, I’m hoping that others of you don’t. This is an amazing opportunity.
Class is Saturday and Sunday, November 30 and December 1st from 11-5. So, you have all day Friday to rest up from the big dinner Thursday, do your cyber-shopping and then come relax with us for the rest of the weekend!
The class fee is $340 plus $375 for the kit including handpainted canvas by Brenda Stofft and all stitching supplies except stretcher bars. The more people who sign up, the lower the class fee will go! Grab a friend and join the fun.
See you soon.
Stunning. Maybe Hubby bought the winning lottery ticket….
