Zoom-bellishment may be behind us (for now!), but the stitching fun continues—and our next adventure is already hopping along!
We just kicked off Bunny Love by Lane Tree Lily, and this canvas is exactly what the name promises: utterly adorable and full of charm. 💖 He’s all about quick and easy stitching at least for now.
In Lesson One, we set the stage with the sweetest little bird perched right on the bunny’s head. He’s bringing the cuteness and the personality, no question.

And speaking of the bunny, we’ve given his forehead a delightful bargello pattern that adds texture, movement, and whimsy.

✨ The ears? Oh, the ears. We padded just the edges to make them pop all without making the back of your canvas lumpy and bumpy. I shared my favorite easy padding technique that keeps everything nice and neat. A video of the demo will be up on our YouTube channel soon, so keep an eye out!

Lesson Two is coming up on August 10, and if you’re feeling the Bunny Love, we still have a few canvases available. Hop on over and join the fun—it’s not too late! 🐇💕
Mystery Class News
Our current mystery class is Robotic Uprising by David Galchutt. We are five classes in. The sixth class will be as soon as threads arrive. Stay tuned for that date. All classes are on zoom! We have canvases available. I promise this is a fun stitch. Here’s the link to join the Uprising.

Not to be left out, we have a fabulous Zecca canvas, Window of Opportunity starting as a mystery in May. This one won’t be on zoom — it’s a series of kits mailed straight to your door. Each panel of this triptych fits on 12×15 bars—easy to hold, but when framed? A total showstopper. Here’s the link for this one.

If you are reading this post on the blog great! Make sure you are signed up for the mailing list so that you don’t miss anything Bedecked and Beadazzled. Did you know we are also on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube? Even more places to follow the fun. xo again.

This is a really fun stitch so far! The hint Ruth gave us for lining up the Long Oblique Irregular Rays stitch used on the bird’s body was priceless. That made stitching the sweet bird a real joy, just like the rest of this canvas so far. Combined with the padded paws and ear edges this is just the kind of quick fun stitch I needed during these dog (bunny?) days of summer. I’m raring to go for the next class.
