Another lesson of the Count has flown the bat cave. We’re moving now. Two more lessons to go!
The leaves below the pumpkins are beaded. The pumpkins themselves are always a challenge. I want the shading to show through so we need open stitches. But the pumpkins are small! In this scenario I used three related stitches moving from smallest at the top to largest at the bottom and also darkened my orange thread with each pumpkin. The size of the stitch and the color change helps add that depth to the design I’m always looking for.
The Wire Lace tendril is super cute and super easy! Love big impact for next to no work.
I’m stitching as fast as I can on this and other Mystery Classes. Too much to do and not enough time. You know that saying.
