Let the games begin! July zoom-bellishment is this weekend! Kits are shipping and should be in everyone’s hands no later than Thursday! What does this mean for you my loyal readers? It means I am about to send you an email a day with pretty pictures of what we are stitching in class. Temptation abounds! Canvases and thread kits are available for most of the things I will be showing off. Let me know what you need or want. I’m happy to enable and love you all for loving what I do.
These are some of the pieces I will be sharing in the upcoming days.

At the end of sharing all that is in July’s class, I will show you what’s coming for October zoom-bellishment so you can check your calendars and decide if you would like to join us. Dates are October 19 and 20.
What exactly is zoom-bellishment and why is it so much fun? Our zoom-bellishment classes are packed full of stitchers who are looking for something a little different. They want to know the why behind the stitches and threads. They want the canvas to look just as gorgeous as the original art that inspired it but have a little more depth and dimension.
We typically have a dozen canvases in play. Five are brand new stitchguides and the other seven are returning favorites. These are canvases that have been showcased before and want to come out and play again. We work in a round robin format on zoom, one canvas at a time. I review what the goals and challenges are with each canvas. What are we trying to achieve? What will make this canvas the most special heirloom ever? We share photos and I demo as necessary. You have the opportunity to learn from all twelve projects at the same time. Maybe there is a technique used on this canvas that will apply to something else in your stash. Or maybe that canvas that at first looked too challenging suddenly become doable because you have heard my thoughts and ideas. It’s all fun.
There will be show and tell, what’s new at the hive. What’s coming soon. It’s epic.
Let’s start today with a returning favorite. Dressed for the Season by Brenda Stofft will be in this class. Oh! The pearls on this one. I love this concept. She is a fun stitch, adding the pearls is really gratifying and so unexpected! She is 11″x 15″ on 18ct. You can order her here if you would like something frosty for winter stitching.

In other news, did you notice I marked down a lot of canvases? I have a ridiculous number of new things waiting to be loaded on the website. We’ll see when that happens. Too many things, too little time, but I do need to make room, so check out the Sale section here and go shopping.
