So much more…
Marjorie Barnes was here this weekend wowing us with 3 days of beady fun. It’s about the projects yes, but it’s more about the fun we have together and the ideas we get from one another. We are delighted she is back in the states and able to teach for us again. Marjorie’s last visit was 3 years ago!
We’ve already booked her for next year so stay tuned! We have big big plans!
We started this weekend with Friday’s class Azure or the Butterfly necklace.
We got a lot done on day one. Look at this progress. Not bad for a day’s work.
Look at those perfect little beaded flowers on the elephant and the owl. They are certain to be coming to a needlepoint canvas near you any day. Perfect flowers Love them!
Marjorie is ever so patient demonstrating ideas and techniques. She’s happy to roll with it when I go off script. 😉
Please note, Johnny loved class and took really good notes so we would remember how do do everything. LOL
Saturday was all about hearts. Beautiful glorious hearts that can be made into a pretty necklace or bracelet.
Look at how much Jamie finished already. Bead Embroidery is so forgiving. It’s quick and easy and we can not only make beautiful beadwork but we can add it to needlepoint. Are you seeing a theme?
Our last day of class was spent working on this fabulous leaf necklace.
Jeanne had a pair of earrings in no time.
Thank you Marjorie for sharing your talent and thank you to all of you wonderful ladies who attended class for sharing your weekend with me. It is always a fun time.
This weekend will be the first lesson of the White Cat Mystery Class and then next weekend Mary Legallet will be here for embellishment! So much fun. The year is flying by but in a happy happy way.
