There are lots and lots of canvases that I have written stitchguides for.  All are good choices for embellishment but some are brilliant choices for embellishment!  Let’s face it, you can read my guides and follow along.  That’s how they are designed.  All the threads and stitches are documented.  I tell you anything that might be a bit tricky.  I don’t leave anything out.

Sometimes I have a few crazy ideas and those are the stitchguides that I think make the best choice for an embellishment class.  In an embellishment class you have me at your side to answer questions.  Typically, you know the answer but it’s nice have someone confirm it.

So here are two canvases that will be stitched in embellishment next weekend that I think are brilliant choices!  Distracted Fairy by David Galchutt has layers upon layers of texture and detail.  Beads, ribbons, metallics;  all the good stuff.

Steampunk Witch by Brenda Stofft is another great canvas full of depth and detail.  She has a leather corset! And wonderful wavy hair.
