Here he is, our favorite cat Shamus is strolling, or is it stalking from the forest.
The cat is dramatic and the framing is even more so. I had this idea while stitching him of continuing the trees onto the mat to add even more depth to the already dramatic canvas. Off to the framer I went with sketch in hand. It worked! They were able to capture the look I wanted with the extra trees on the mat. I do love it when a plan comes together.
With one mystery canvas finished, it’s time to start another! This Sunday will be the first class of our next project. I can’t wait to show you what I’m doing with it.
Fabulous stitching… fabulous framing! GREAT job, Ruth! We are ready for the next MYSTERY to unveil!
Very dramatic! Shamus is half real and half abstract. It's a fascinating project, Ruth. You added a lot to this canvas to make it come to life.
Great job, as always.

Outstanding! Take a bow!
Oh, he is definitely STALKING!! How beautiful….and then framing is exquisite! Denise
How original! I am 3/4 finished with mine and it's so much more amazing in "person". I have enjoyed this project and when DH saw it for the first time over the weekend, he wanted to know how much longer before I would be finished. He's anxious to give it to DD. I had wanted to make mine into a pillow but now that I've seen your unique framing I am not sure.
