Fifi in her Garden by Johanna Virtanen is our current Mystery Class.  Our second lesson was last weekend and its getting dramatic!  I love when a canvas comes to life.

We started with the background which needed to be small and soft and not my usual level of pattern.  If I had done that, we’d all still be counting.  LOL

The magic happened when we added the big pink flower.  I love this flower.  It’s big and bold and dramatic and the star of the show.  You know I like to add fun unexpected elements and this flower has it all.  Beautiful threads, fancy trims, felt, rings and beads!    That makes me happy.

We’ve got lots of leaves and fun flowers to play with in the next lessons, so stay tuned for surprises!  Threads are arriving!
