It’s time to stitch Fifi’s garden.  It’s full of beautiful flowers and pretty green leaves.  Fifi in her Garden by Johanna Virtanen is our current Mystery Class.  Every few weeks a new chapter in the mystery is revealed.

There are so many leaves on this canvas and yes they could all be stitched differently creating a sampler of stitches I prefer to stitch all like leaves in the same style.  There are also a lot of outlines on this canvas, some I have chosen to stitch over while others remain.

My favorite leaves are Leaf Stitch Leaves.  I used different threads and colors to create these leaves.

Leaf stitches also make Fifi’s tail!

I love the beaded dots on this flower.  So much dimension, the flower pops off the canvas.

Next lesson will be flowers so that her garden is complete.
