What a week, what a month (and it’s only just started), what a year! Do you ever have one of those weeks that are one step forward and two steps back? That’s my been my week. What is yours like? Things are crazy, but we are busy creating projects that will speak to you and keep you happily stitching as the snow begins to fall.
Our current Mystery Class is Winter Morn by Brenda Stofft. It is a charming cottage on a snow covered hill straight out of a 1940’s greeting card. It’s peaceful and happy.
In the first lesson we stitched the snow in a wonderful pattern that reminds me of a quilt. It’s a large stitch and it moves fast once you get the rhythm.
We also stitched the sky in a flowing blackwork style pattern. Yes, it has a repeat even though it looks random. If you can see it. LOL.
This is a mystery, so more details will be revealed with each lesson. We have more canvases on order. They are due early in 2021. If you would like to order a kit, here’s the magical link.
More surprises are coming soon! Stay tuned.
In between packing and shipping kits, I’m writing guides for our first embellishment class of 2021. Sneak peeks will happen. Not to worry, I’m stitching too. Santa Fe Felines is at the top of my queue.
