We started a new mystery class, Lulu’s La Sirena, at the shop today! I love the mystery classes. They are fun and keep me focused on one project. (Or 4 depending upon how you count.)
Today’s class was quiet and laid back. Lulu Mypinkturtle’s beautiful mermaid is already coming to life. We stitched her face which gives her so much personality.
Her hair is flowing strands of Bouclé.
There’s also the fun scissor fob designed for the class. The skeleton fish made everyone smile today.
More canvases will be arriving in a few weeks. If you would like to join the party, give us a call at 410.296.0405 and we’ll do the rest.
Now, if I still have your attention, I have a question.
I’m planning next year’s mystery classes. Traditionally I do several non seasonal followed by a Fall-Halloween and a Winter canvas. What do you prefer? Should I stick with that format or do you prefer all non seasonal. There are so many great canvases; I want to stitch them all!
Leave me your comments as to you preference and I’ll take it from there.
See you soon.

I'm a big halloween fan- or anything bold and non-traditional (so almost all the mysteries you do!). I enjoy a seasonal because it forces me to get something big done and off to the finisher in time for next year- like a christmas stocking!
And I love this mystery so far! Will enjoy it after a busy July 4th week!
I want to join a mystery class so bad! As soon as I get settled into my apartment, it is going to happen!
I have so many Halloween and Christmas canvases already that I would prefer something different! I wouldn't mind it being Fall-ish or Wintery but not a particular holiday if you know what I mean. Love this lady and cannot wait until she shows up on my doorstep.
I am SOOOO excited to get this canvas in the mail – cannot wait! And I am super jazzed that you are including your new thread in the kit too…I was crossing my fingers that you would do that! 🙂 I wanted to make class in person but was just flying back into town from vacation on Sunday…so hopefully can make the next class – will give you a call.
This is the first mystery I have done but, for what it is worth, I love the non-seasonal canvases you do – and the more colorful/wild/BLING the better!

Just like the others, I can't wait to get this gorgeous girl in the mail. I like your current format, but mostly I like your selection style. That being said, just about anything you pick will certainly be wonderful!
My canvas arrived last night and SQUEEEEEEEE I can't wait for work to end today so I can start on it! So awesome…and your thread!!! I couldn't stop admiring it! My mom is with me this week and we were both talking about how creative you are – I told her I admire you so much for following your passion and making a business of it. Can't wait to get my little mermaid going and hopefully attend one of the classes! Everything about this kit is FIRST CLASS! THANK YOU for making my week! 🙂 Happy happy!

Thank you all for loving what I do! I'm so excited to keep bringing you new and unusual things. Who knows what direction I will go in next . Can't wait to share! You know it will have lots of color whatever it is. Say hi to mom. Come visit soon. We miss you and it's not snowing.
I would love a Santa mystery!
I love working with your new floche….so smooth and easy to work with. I'm in love with the Lulu canvas…..so many beautiful colors. As for
Holiday canvases or not, I prefer other topics for stitching. However, having said that, I love working on the Christmas village mystery. You always seem to make wonderful choices. Flora Muller
