I found a weekend. Somehow I had an open weekend on the calendar. We can’t have that, can we? Let’s fill it up with a Spring Zoom-bellishment class!
Embellishment classes are our favorite classes. Everyone has a different canvas and a super cool stitchguide! How fun is that? You pick the canvas; we do the rest. Your guide will have stitches, threads and all the details. There’s an energy to these classes that I love. With everyone doing something different it’s so fun to watch your neighbor’s canvas come to life.
We have embraced Zoom and we love it! We miss seeing you in person, but Zoom allows us to stitch with new friends who could not otherwise travel to us.
The process is the same in person or via Zoom. You have your canvas, your threads and a complete stitchguide. No worrying about when will I get my turn? Will all the areas of my canvas be addressed? We will simply dive in and spend the time test driving the areas you want to experiment with or the areas I think may require a demo. It’s a relaxing, fun way to spend your class time. I promise, the magic is the same as in person. I make sure you see everything that is going on. You get to learn from all the canvases while stitching your favorite.
In the interest of bringing this fun to more people, we have a system. We have selected five brand new canvases that I will write guides for. These are the newest of the new. You may select any of these or a canvas that I have previously written a stitchguide for.
There is a limit to the total number of different canvases we can pay attention to and answer questions on in a class.
This system allows us to have a good number of new canvases in every class – That’s always fun – and at the same time stitch with as many different people as possible. Win Win!
Zoom-bellishment will be Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, 2025
Class will be 11-4pm each day.
Our current choice of canvases along with sizes and mesh can be seen here. May 2025 In addition to these eight choices we can also add a few more options as long as I have already written a guide for the canvas and we can get the canvas in time for class.

I can’t wait to see what you select! Cost is $250 plus the cost of stitch guide, canvas* and threads selected. Two class days.
Class size is limited. Please call us (410.296.0405) to sign-up early and reserve your space. A $100 non refundable deposit will be required. Registration will close tbd.
*canvas must be purchased from us.
Mystery Class News
Our next mystery class is Robotic Uprising by David Galchutt. We have five lessons planned for this class. Class dates are planned for March 16, April 6, May 18, June 8 and 29. Now is the time to sign up. We have canvases available. When they sell out the next shipment won’t arrive until late April. Here’s the link to join the Uprising.

Hi Ruth,
Just wondering if Lady Owl is hand painted?
Thank you!
it is! It’s one of my artists, Heather Gauthier. She is amazing!
Will the Pink Doughnuts Elephant be taught in a zoombelishment this year? Love that canvas!
Pink Donuts was in January Zoom-bellishment but she could come out to play again. Check your calendar and let me know when you would like to join us. xo
HI! Ruth. Several things—-Vibrant beauty kit just arrived. WOW!!! will be reading the guide tonight. Hope to start on it soon.
Empty cart— I did order the Halloween Cruise kit. And I want it delivered over the 4 lessons — NO Zoom !
Finally for the Zoom-Bellishment I’m only interested in the kit and canvas for the owl with the ostrich feathers. Not available this session. I can wait and put it on my wish list for later in the year.
Thanks for all of the terrific ideas you send out.
