Our first Embellishment class of the new year is in two short weeks. Well, maybe a little less. YIKES! I’m writing stitchguides and creating. This class has so many fun canvases. I thought I would start showing you what’s coming.
Since we are still in the season sort of, I thought I would start by showing you Dominic Bourbeau’s Nativity. Absolutely stunning. So many details all in Dominic’s Mid-Century Modern style. Two ladies in class will be stitching this one. I can’t wait to see it come to life.
There’s just a few threads used, but there were so many colors! We needed so many textures. The Wisemen are opulent in silks and metals, the shepherds are stitched in Mandarin Floss and the holy family is somewhere in between. Ann, if you are reading this, this was for you. xo. Animals abound and then there is the backdrop. I’m really excited about the barn. That’s where the stitches really shine. Lots of fun stitches throughout.
I’ll post pictures from class but until then, if this is on your bucket list to stitch, here’s the link to order, or give us a call at 410.296.0405. This is a pre-order. Canvases ordered now will be in-stock the first of March.
I’ll post more sneak peeks as we lead up to to class. Not to worry, I’m stitching too. Let’s Fall in Love and Lady with the Lime Green Background are the top of my queue.
