It’s a new year and a new year of Zoom-bellishment classes. Our first class of the year is this weekend. Over the course of the next few days I will show you what everyone is stitching. Kits are available for all of these projects so don’t hesitate to reach out to order your favorites.
Our next Zoom-bellishment class will be July 26-27. We will post canvases for that class soon. It’s never too early to start planning.
This class is a stellar group of choices. Sometimes we pick so many fun canvases that it’s hard to choose just one, so I suggest going with your heart and it it says you need two or more that’s okay. In our Zoom-bellishment classes I don’t just tell you what to stitch to put where I tell you why. What do we want to highlight; what do we want to recede; all of this is important. I tend toward open stitches that go fast and let the beautiful painting show through.
Some of the canvases that will be in class this weekend you have seen before.

Several people will be stitching the Cheetah. Designed by Colors of Praise and painted on 18ct slightly smaller than the original this canvas hits all the right notes, so many colors and did you catch, the cheetah is beaded? I love my plan for the background. Here’s ordering information for the cheetah.

Not to be outdone by it’s distant cousin the big cat, this domesticated goddess is also entirely beaded. In my mind she is a cloisonne beauty. Feline Fiesta is by David Galchutt and can be ordered here.

If big bold moths are more your style, Zecca’s Long Luna is a total delight to stitch. And you were worried I was going to say lots of beads on this one too. Here’s the link to order the Moth.
Tomorrow I start posting the newest of the new. There’s another David Galchutt, a Heather Gauthier, a Lulu MyPinkturtle and a new stunner from Romantzart not to mention another Zecca. Which will you fall in love with?
Mystery Class News
In honor of finishing Santa Fe Felines we are excited to launch our next Mystery with a Twist. Mysteries with a Twist work just like regular mysteries in that they are released in lessons. The twist is that you don’t know when the next lesson is coming. These are long term projects spanning several years. The vast majority of us don’t finish canvases all at one time. We work on this and work on that. If that sounds like you, this is the perfect solution. We will launch a lesson every so often (read in between the other things I am doing) and each time it arrives it’s like a fun old friend coming to visit.
Our newest offering is this fabulous Zecca Triptych! Three canvases 8″ x 11″, perfectly manageable that when stitched turn into one large framed beauty!

It’s going to be a gem when finished. Here’s where you can sign up.
