I’m trying to be better about posting more often and sending newsletters for the shop more often. We’ll see how these plans go.
Today I finally finished part I of Gay Ann Rogers Mystery in a Corner. For those of you who don’t know, Gay Ann periodically designs mystery projects. She sends out a list of thread types, you pick the colors and start stitching. You don’t know where you are going or what you are doing until you get there. Just follow along and have a good time.
It’s really a lot of fun. I have the best time playing with color. Give me a skein of overdyed thread and tell me to pull colors to go with it and I’m a happy camper. You can see my work in progress here along with the threads I used. Missy has done hers in shades of cocoa and browns. Neither one of our color combos are really all that shocking if you know us.
