Can’t you just hear me happily suggesting that we bead the candies and the lollipops? Yes, that’s exactly what we did!
I love things that are completely beaded. The only thing that I did on these candies that is a little out of the norm is that I angled the beads at different directions. So, white beads face one way, colored beads face the other way. I think it adds a little more swirl to a swirly candy.
The pink and green tree is pretty simple. A beautiful overdye and bright pink Petite Peluche are all it needed to make it come to life.
Next up, we started on the patchwork tree. Simple stitches and yes MORE BEADS! I love beads. Did you know that?
We’re in the home stretch now. Not much to do to finish this canvas. What will it be? Oh, I have a few surprises up my sleeve. Only Santa knows what they are.
The final lesson is in 4 weeks so if you are stitching along you have lots of time to catch up.
Here’s wishing you a holiday as happy as Candyland!
WOW!
