Here we go, lesson 2 of Let’s Fall in Love is complete.  I know it’s been a crazy long wait, but I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Let’s Fall in Love is a long term Mystery With a Twist Class.  Lessons come out periodically in between other classes.

In the first lesson we focused on the background.  In this lesson we will stitch the tablecloth and the vase.

The tablecloth is a wonderful assortment of colors and textures,  but the vase!  The vase needed to look like cut crystal and I think it does.

The table cloth is one piece of fabric so while it is a myriad of fabulous colors it does still need to look continuous.  The stitch pattern flows and continues from section to section with a few spicy parts thrown in.  There are new colors of my Floche and another brand new thread, Petite Silk Lamé Braid, Perle Cotton, Tranquility and Soie d’Alger.  So many fabulous threads.

The vase is completely beaded.  You know I love that.  It’s beaded in a pattern and then there are layers of beads added on top.  It’s super fun, and it looks like real crystal!

Kits are being packed and then we can ship next week!   I’ll probably be calling for new credit cards since it’s been awhile.  If you think I need a new cc and want to log into your account through the website that would be awesome and speed things along.
