I just love finishing when it comes back exceeding my vision. The Angel Queen by lulu mypinkturtle did just that! This was a mystery class last year and is now available as a canvas with guide or as a complete kit.
You know I love over the top drama on my pieces. We added ruffles and trim and played up the black and white to give her a thoroughly modern feel. She will fit right in at the beehive. She’s a perfect addition for the month of February.
We used so many fun threads and stitches and of course beads on the Angel Queen. She has a super pretty background thanks to my Color Dreams Floche. All kinds of fun!
I love stitching Lulu’s canvases. I can’t wait to do another! If you would like to stitch your very own angel queen. Here’s the link.

I love her!!! Alice in wonderland queen of hearts!!
Newcomer to B&B. Your work is so extraordinary. Did you ever do a book advising stitchers on stitch choice? How do you begin and end threads with so many open stitches chosen for your effects? I still have the lime Christmas tree canvas in my stash: afraid to confidently finish without suggestions from my former shopowner, now retired and long gone.
Done over 15 years of traditional canvaswork, Birds of a Feather, Cooper Oaks, Elizabeth Bradley. Now I want Bedecked and Bedazzled in my house but it is intimidating.
You can do this! Pick a project with one of my stitchguides and take it one step at a time. If you like the queen, she would be a great one to do. Can you come to a class?
Actually I am saving up to order your “Haunted House”: she comes with stitchguide. As for shop attendance, I live outside Portland OR. What a bummer for me.
Thanks for responding.
Haunted House is super fun. Lots of cool stuff in that one. As to Oregon, I’m seeing a nice long road trip in your future 🙂 Grab some girlfriends and come play! xo
So adorable, Ruth!❤️
thank you
Just in time for Purim !
