The sun is shinning and Spring looks like it is here. I’m ignoring everything else for today, just basking in happy kitties.
Allow me to share this happy kitty, Monarch and Mew, designed by Dominic Bourbeau, stitched by Carol following my guide. Isn’t he sweet? This is another finish from a past embellishment class. YAY!
Look at those eyes!
Of course the butterfly is beaded. Just like a piece of fine jewelry it sits on the kitty’s tail.
There are more beads for the sprockets and a fun counted stitch for the gold band.
I think he turned out super cute. Thank you Carol for letting me share him.
If you would like to stitch your own Mew and Monarch, here’s the link to order.
I hope you are all doing well in isolation mode. Thank your stitching, your fur babies and your loved ones. They will get us through this.

I”m doing this one now using Ruth’s stitch guide – lots of fun and not all that difficult. Needless to say, Ruth’s stitch guides really enhances a canvas and make it fun to stitch. Very pleased with my results.
Thanks, Mary. Glad you are having fun! xo
A big shout out to Carol – looks fantastic. And great guide as always (just a few beads – LOL).
