A few weeks ago my dear friend Sheena stopped by for a little weekend visit. Sheena is the creative force behind Sheena’s Sweet Stitches. We met through the shop several years ago and just hit it off. She writes stitchguides for some of my pieces and they are always so fun to stitch.
We seem to share the same sense of the unusual when it comes to design and color and nail polish.
So what are two creative types to do for a day in a needlepoint store but play with canvases and redecorate the store.
One of the canvases we collaborated on was this one by Maggie. It has so many possibilities! We didn’t write a full stitchguide but we did write a lot of notes as to what we would do where and we had a great time. There was a great sense of energy on a rainy day in the shop as we bounced ideas and threads off of each other.
We need to do this again soon!
Until then, if you are intrigued by this canvas give us a call and we’ll kit it up for you with our notes and ideas.
What a happy, colorful piece. Would have been fun to watch the two of you play.
Wow! So nice to see Sheena. Thanks Ruth for featuring her!!!
