Today we finished the Partridge Christmas Stocking by Tapestry Tent. It was a fun ride, and yes we really did stitch a stocking in no time at all!
The fluffy partridge was the last part to come to life. It’s really all about the threads – Fluffy Stuff and beads, a magical combination. Look at his fat tummy.
The upper edge of the stocking is framed with two golden borders. I didn’t stitch the cuff on mine. I have visions of fabric or fur to finish the top. You could certainly add a name or phrase to finish yours.
Next up on my hit parade of stitching is the Melissa Shirley Christmas Village. We plan on shipping the next lesson of the class this week, then I am back to The Count.
Thanks for sharing my adventures.

This was my first mystery (that was unsolved) and I loved it! Also my first stocking! The partridge and the pears… every stitch was fun and fabulous! Are there other stockings like this by tapestry fair?
