Let’s face it, we are addicted to needlepoint clubs. It’s a harmless addiction but an addiction none the less. We love getting our packages each month. It’s a guaranteed present just for you. It’s even more fun when it’s packed in a sparkly envelope like we do. So, allow me to tempt you with the […]

Promise
Anna-Marie Winter is a very dear friend of mine and not only a fabulous designer but a patient and giving teacher. Periodically we entice her to teach Cyber Classes at Bedecked and Beadazzled. They are always a great learning experience. The newest Cyber Class she is offering is Promise. Here’s how Anna-Marie describes the piece. […]
What a wonderful happy weekend
Yesterday was the last day of Kelly’s visit to Bedecked and Beadazzled, for this year. Yes, it’s true, we are talking about a yearly visit. Cross your fingers, ladies. The class format for the last two days worked out great. We did a “Stitch with Kelly” Party so we all had input on the the […]
When it rains, it pours……. literally
Today was a crazy, crazy rainy day. Hours and hours and hours of rain, but we were inside happy, sunny and dry stitching with Kelly Clark! Today and tomorrow were “Stitch with Kelly” days. Two wonderfully relaxed days of stitching together, just us girls with a very talented designer friend. Our project is the wonderful […]
A Face Anyone Could Love!
How can you resist this face? The lush red hair, the stellar hat, the haute couture gown. They all add up to Kelly Clark’s latest creation, Elvira. Today was the first day of a three day teaching event at Bedecked and Beadazzled with the oh so talented Kelly Clark. Kelly graciously agreed to teach Elvira […]
Another Nifty App
I do love technology! When Sandy Arthur called and told me her book (shapes of needlepoint) was also available as an app for the iphone I was hooked. What a great system, you can search by shape, name or thread count. No more wondering if you can do a Broad Cross Boxed over 6 x […]
It’s a Clear and Sunny Day!
The colors of Spring are bursting on this canvas. The next stop on our journey is the sky. The color is a lovely shade of Aquamarine. I chose a big circular stitch originally designed by Brenda Hart. It’s curly and quirky and plays off the whimsey of the flowers. The stitch is worked in two […]
If you ever get the chance…..
You really must take a class from Jean Krynicki owner of River Silks! She’s one talented lady! Last Saturday we were fortunate to have her at Bedecked and Beadazzled teaching her basics class to a sell out crowd. Jean brought her equally talented daughters Beth and Lynn so we had lots of help. The ladies […]
Signs of Spring
Aaaah, the excitement of a first date. What will it be? Where will we go? That’s how I feel starting our next mystery. Where will this journey lead us? This is such a happy canvas designed by Zecca. There is so much going on. Great colors, potential for great stitches and texture. The fun thing […]
Geek Alert
Good Morning I’m putting all my geeky things here in one post. First the blog has a few new features. Look at the top of the blog right under the header. We now have pages. Just like a real website. I’ve created a special page for Bedecked and Beadazzled’s Mystery Classes. I thought it would […]
Spookin in March
It’s not Halloween but it’s Spookin time. Just back from the finisher, I wanted to share my stitched and finished version of Leigh’s Spookin. The finishing really does make the piece! I started this one day, channeling my inner Brenda Hart. We were in class, Sue was stitching this piece with Brenda and I was […]
The end of one story, the beginning of another
You know that feeling you get when a good book comes to an end and you really don’t want to see it end. That’s the feeling I have with this canvas. This has been my favorite canvas to stitch of all the mysteries. Lots of details, lots of color changes, all the things that make […]
Add a little sunshine on an otherwise gray day
It’s trying to be sunny outside, but we aren’t quite there. I need to take photos but I guess I have to wait. So instead, in my attempt to make all things bright and sunny I present PEACE. PEACE is part of a series of canvases I designed and introduced last June. These are just […]
So, what did you do in February?
A group of friends and I spent each Saturday in February taking a fun and informative class. Gale Washington is a local teacher who will be teaching this year at the National EGA Seminar in Naples, Florida, September 11-16, 2011. She has recently returned to the needlework world and teaching after a hiatus. We were […]
The snowman’s frame…..
Well, here we are, lesson #4 of the Snowman’s Nose mystery class at Bedecked and Beadazzled…… The comment has been made when looking at this canvas how busy it is. That’s true, there’s a lot going on. That’s one of the things I love most about it. When it is simply a painted canvas it’s […]
Groupon – coupon for Bedecked and Beadazzled
Here we are in 2011. The world and technology are changing faster than we know what to do with it. Our passion is needlework, a time honored tradition. Yet somehow we have to embrace the future and embrace what it can do for us. So……. tomorrow Bedecked and Beadazzled will be featured on Groupon in […]

Vicky De Angelis, dear friend and stitcher extraordinaire has just launched her new blog. I’m excited to see what she’s working on and what she posts. It’s called Mostly Needlepoint and will include mostly needlepoint, a little about her cats and anything else that tickles her fancy. Her first project is the Laurel Burch Rainbow […]
Our Snowman Hearts you just in time for Valentine’s Day
For those of you following the progress on our Snowman Mystery Class today is the third lesson. Kits are in the mail! More details are being developed on our snowman. Yay! This week, we focused primarily on his mittened hand holding the heart. We still have outlines to deal with. In many areas I am […]
Meet the Flirty Girls!
The Flirty Girls are my newest girls. They are the “IT” girls. The party girls. The “girls just wanna have fun” girls. And fun they would be to stitch. Some of the girls are also available as 6 inch squares or as 3 inch circles to fit various Lee and Stirling Leather Goods. This […]
A warm and snuggly scarf is needed on a cold wet snowy day!
Here you go. Now you can really see how important the scarf is on our snowman. It looks fluffy and warm and curvy. This is before and after stitching the scarf. I covered the top black outlines but left the lower ones. Can’t wait to see what I add next…. I have ideas!
The snowman is dressed!!!!
Our snowman mystery class is really a lot of fun. The snowman is coming to life and popping off the canvas. In this lesson we are going to start dressing the snowman. He definitely needs a hat and a scarf! And it is snowing out so who would be surprised to find snow on his […]
My, Oh My, Oh My!
Kelly Clark designs the most amazing canvases. Add to that her stitching, which takes them to a new level. Add to that the finishing and then you have a mini masterpiece! Kelly has done it again with her brand new tassel club. She designed twelve tassels and has stitched them and had them finished with […]
Here we go again……
Brenda Hart was here this weekend teaching one of her popular embellishment classes. Each student brings a different canvas and Brenda picks threads and stitches for us all. Brenda has a knack for selecting stitches that the average person wouldn’t think of. OH MY are they perfect! The other really special thing about Brenda is […]
It’s Halloween Somewhere, right?
Well maybe somewhere in my fantasy world. I have a very vivid fantasy world, you know. Hermina Batwings, our Fall mystery class is back from the finisher in all her over the top glory. I had her finished as a standup box. Love her! Here she is with her new friend. Don’t they make a […]
