I first fell in love with Kim’s artwork because of Mona Lisa, her beautiful tabby cat, who looked so much like my beloved Max that I simply had to have the original painting. One painting turned into another, and before long I knew Kim’s wonderful animal portraits belonged in needlepoint. Whether she’s painting cats, dogs, frogs, horses, or even hamsters in tiaras, Kim has an amazing gift for capturing not just what an animal looks like, but the personality that makes you fall in love with it.
